My other favorite pink is Lancome Pale Lip. I love Chanel English Rose too! You're right - it's a real, cool-toned pink. And when I go out at night, I probably wear pink again half the time. but you can probably get it online (strawberry net etc).ĭuring the day, I pretty much only wear pink lipstick. You should try Chanel Hydrabase lipstick in English Rose. Yay, another pink addict! Are you very fair like me? I love my berries, reds, etc, but somehow always come back to pink. I love it and would like to buy other shades. The Lipstick Queen shade mentioned I just bought last month. I always thought of old ladies wearing them. I would love to have every color you showed. Ooh, I've been eyeing that YSL Caress Pink - thanks for the comment about it! I cannot go to the mall everyday, ladies. I stoppedby MAC yesterday to pick up SugarSweet St Germaine, and they dared to show me the new Viva Glam, a great everyday pink, but they would not sell it to me. MAC bunny pink is my HG and I continue my quest for a dupe. Have you tried The Lipstick Queen's Saint Rose or Sinner Rose? Very nice pinks, very natural looking! :( I wonder if MAC has any other shades that are similar? And it's crazy that all of those Revlon Moon Drops lipsticks are still around - I remember those shade names from when I worked at the Sears cosmetics counter in high school (and that was longer ago than I like to admit. My tube is about to run out though - I've got to find a replacement soon. I'm surprised at how flattering it is - I have super pale skin, I'm not even sure what made me try it in the first place. MAC Vivacious is my all-time favorite pink. I'm on my fourth one, and thank goodness this color is part of the regular always-available MAC line. Sweetie has been one of my favorite go-to colors for many years. I've rediscovered Vivacious, a bright, shimmering blue-based pink that is a bit more wearable than the even bluer and brighter Fun N Sexy from the Fafi collection. Blodorf and me hitting the local MAC counter on launch day for every new collection that is released. MAC makes some of my favorite pinks! Granted, many of them are Limited Editions from past "collections" - Fafi, C-Shock, Naughty Nauticals - this is the kind of lippie longing that has Ms. And although photos and color renditions may appear differently on different computer monitors, I'll take a stab at showing some of my favorite pinks and roses todayĪs I was gathering up my pink and rose lippies for these photos, I discovered something that surprised me. Sometimes I think we should all walk around with Pantone swatch books in our bags! I often see a lipstick described as cool-toned on makeupalley, and when I see it in person, I think to myself that I must be pretty bad in judging color tones. But what's pink to me may not be pink to someone else. I've tried to do browns, pinky-browns and nudes, but I always go back. I know that cool-toned pinks and roses look best on me. I like their matte finish better.Nine days out of ten, I'm reaching for a pink lippie. Its creamy, moisturising, light weight but stays on for only 2-3 hours and have a tendency to bleed. Have to apply on exfoliated lips otherwise it will accentuate fine lines.įinal word: Mac Chatterbox lipstick is a neutral pink that would work really well on fair to medium skin tones.Being creamy it stays on for 2-3 hours. It is creamy in texture so non drying on lips. The colour is not bright or neon….just light everyday pink.It came out a little brighter in the photos but the actual colour is a bit toned down Mac Chatterbox Lipstick Swatch Mac Chatterbox Lipstick Swatch on lips Mac Chatterbox Lipstick Review Mac Chatterbox Lipstick Swatch, Review Mac Chatterbox Lipstick Swatches Let’s check out some photos and swatches: Mac Chatterbox Lipstick This shade goes really well with my Smokey eyes makeup looks. And although this shade is ideal for summer but I prefer to wear it in winters as it keeps moistens my lips. In short I am a matte lover so an amplified creme lipstick is not my cup of tea but the color forced me to buy it. Although it doesn’t smudge but easily transfers to cups and glasses and stays hardly for 2-3 hours on my lips. The lipstick is light weight and creamy in texture but one has to exfoliate her lips properly before applying the lipstick as it accentuates the fine lines on the lips. The fragrance of the lipstick is usual the vanilla scent which fades away after few minutes of application. It comes in standard black silver packaging. The lipstick is creamy and bleeds a little so the lip liner trick helps here too.

The inside of the "mouth" consists of multiple levels of walkways surrounded by lava. The bridge consists of a large ruined rampart structure with a piglin face carved into it. Like shulkers in end cities, once these mobs are killed, they do not respawn, though the bastion continues to spawn normal mobs depending on the biome it is located in. Piglin brutes also spawn exclusively here upon structure generation, and do not despawn unless killed, or if difficulty is set to Peaceful in Java Edition (they remain in Bedrock Edition but become passive in Peaceful difficulty). Piglins, piglin brutes, and hoglins that spawn upon generation in bastion remnants neither despawn naturally nor do they hunt each other. In Java Edition, the chance of a bastion generating instead of a fortress is 3⁄ 5 (60%), while in Bedrock Edition the chance of a bastion generating instead of a fortress is 2⁄ 3 (66.6%). Two structures never generate in the same region, although they might overlap if they generate close to the separation border. This leaves only a 368×368 block section in Java Edition or 416×416 block section in Bedrock Edition where a structure can generate. Each region has a 4-chunk separation located on the south and east borders of the region in which neither a fortress nor a bastion can generate. The regions are 432×432 blocks in Java Edition and 480×480 blocks in Bedrock Edition. To generate the structure, the game splits the Nether into regions, in which either a nether fortress or a bastion remnant can generate. Once you entered your seed and version you can start using the map. The app does this the same way Minecraft does, so it's safe to use letters (and other characters) as well. If you type in anything else (like letters), it will be converted to a number. You should also know that a seed is always a number (up to around 20 digits). When loading a seed from a level, the seed will automatically be stored as a level. Levels allow you to store and reuse seeds on this website, without having to load your savegame every time. On Windows you can use %appdata%\.minecraft\saves to get to that folder. You can find the savegames in the saves folder of your Minecraft installation. Level.dat is a small file located in the folder of every Minecraft savegame. The latter can be done by clicking on "Load from Save." and selecting your level.dat, or by drag&dropping the level.dat file into your browser window. You can either type it in manually, or you can load it from your savegame. The first thing you should do is select a seed and version. We will briefly show you how it works below: However, if you do decide to update your macOS and install the newer version of the app, Photos, it would be much easier to find identical and similar files with Duplicate File Finder. Review the summary of duplicate photos that will be deleted, and click on Remove.Īs you can see, this is a considerably complex procedure because you have no other choice but to access the library packages to do this right.Click on Review & Remove when you are done. Select the unneeded photos that you want to erase by checking the boxes next to them. The numbers next to the file’s name on the right-hand side represent the number of duplicates you have for the same picture. Click on Duplicate Files → Pictures, and on the left sidebar, you will see the full list of similar photos. Once they’re scanned, you will see the results of a number of duplicate images and their total size. Also, add other folders which you want to compare with the pictures in Photos for duplicates. Now you will need to select the folder you want to scan and drag & drop it to Duplicate File Finder’s Choose folders panel.Once you’ve opened it, you will find the contents of the Photo Library in front of you.Open the package by right-clicking on Photos Library and selecting Show Package Contents.Locate the Photo/iPhoto Library by going through Finder → Pictures → Photo Library as shown on the screenshot below:.You would need to follow the same steps with the iPhotos app, even if you are using an older version of the macOS. Remember that we are using macOS Ventura for this tutorial, which means we used Apple Photos as an example – the newer version of iPhoto. Follow our instructions below to see how you can utilize this duplicate file remover and get rid of unwanted files once and for all. Because – let’s be honest – going over all your duplicate photos by yourself is going to take an enormous chunk of your time. The most straightforward, non-hassle way to delete duplicate pictures would be to use a third-party software, such as the Duplicate File Finder for Mac. Use Duplicate File Finder to scan and delete Duplicate Photos This will require using a special duplicate photo finder app, which will do the task in an easier, faster and more reliable way than doing it by yourself. For this reason, we would recommend that you check out our alternative method below to delete duplicate photos in iPhoto. Checking every photo individually is somewhat troublesome and time-consuming because you will need to follow this process for each image. Then there are occasions when the pictures are visually the same, but the image sizes differ, meaning one of the photos is of higher resolution and quality. Since you already know that the only difference between the two photos is the way they are named, it makes good sense to delete one of them from your Mac. Simply right click on the image and select Get info, which will open a window with detailed information. You can check the image file information such as size, last date modified, where it’s located and other relevant information to make sure that it’s a duplicate. If you are confident enough to take the manual route, start off by opening the Photos app and going through the Events in the Library to erase anything that strikes you as being a duplicate.Īs an example, below we’ve provided you with two duplicate photos that are exactly the same visually but have different file names. Either you use specialized third-party software to automate the process of finding them, or you can take your time and do it all by yourself. There are two ways to get rid of duplicate images from the iPhoto app. Remove Duplicate Photos that come from iPhoto manually

But its very eclecticism means it lacks the laser-focused intent of We Are Not Your Kind, or even Vol.3: The Subliminal Verses, the album to which Corey Taylor himself has compared it. Almost as predictably, the reaction to the tantalisingly-titled The End, So Far when it was released a year later was mixed – it doubled down on the experimental approach of We Are Not Your Kind, to the delight of some fans and the inevitable annoyance of others.īut is it any good? At its best, as on surpisingly left-field, Radiohead-influenced opener Adderall or full-on ragers The Dying Song (Time To Sing), H377 and The Chapeltown Rag, it’s the equal of what they’ve done before, with an added layer of sonic adventurousness. Such is Slipknot’s status these days that the noise surrounding their new album was deafening even before they dropped frenetic first single The Chapeltown Rag in November 2021. The main problem is that, with 14 tracks and a running time of around an hour, it could have done with some editing to turn what is a flabby effort into a truly great record. Understandably, there's far more in the way of sombre material here – not always a bad thing, as in the case of powerfully moving opening track XIX – and when Slipknot do launch into the heavier likes of Custer and the menacing The Devil In I they sound great. 5: The Gray Chapter – dedicated to the late Paul Gray – is an uneven record. So, maybe we shouldn’t be too harsh on the fact that it's certainly not one of their best. Within two years of its release, bassist Paul Gray had passed away, and three years later drummer Joey Jordison was unceremoniously ousted from the band.Ĭoming in the aftermath of the genuine trauma that the band experienced at the start of the 2010’s, it’s an achievement that we got a fifth Slipknot album at all. It’s unfortunate that All Hope Is Gone is the final recorded document showcasing the “classic” Slipknot line-up when it’s such a deeply flawed record. Hearing them in their embryonic form here is interesting, but there is very little in the way of evidence that Slipknot would go on to become a band to define a generation. Some songs, such as Only One and Tattered And Torn, went on to appear on their ‘proper’ self-titled 1999 debut. Is only really worth revisiting as an exercise in researching their early days. It showcasing a band very much in their infancy. Roadrunner Records have listed the music video for "Duality" as the best music video in Roadrunner history. The very first Slipknot album – essentially a demo – lacks Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson and Jim Root (the band features original singer Anders Colsefni, guitarists Donnie Steele and Josh Brainard, and no DJ). At the end of 2009, "Before I Forget" was listed as "AOL's Top Metal Song of the Decade". The band also received the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song "Before I Forget". The album peaked within the top ten in album sales across eleven countries, and went Platinum in the United States. Slipknot was praised by AllMusic for its "dedication to making it a Slipknot album", while Q added that the album was "a triumph". The album received generally positive reviews. 3 is credited as Slipknot's first to incorporate more traditional, melodic song structures, guitar solos and acoustic instruments. Nevertheless, the band managed to write more than enough material for a new album. Initially, the band was unproductive lead vocalist Corey Taylor was drinking heavily. In 2003, Slipknot moved into The Mansion to work on the album. Some band members had already been involved in side projects including Murderdolls, To My Surprise, and the reformation of Stone Sour. Following the band's tour to promote its second album in 2002, speculation regarding the future began. Qualities that go hand-in-hand with the Old Man of the Sea. Thomas commanded respect as a knowledgeable lighthouse keeper, surveyor of the sea, and sailor. Whether or not Thomas is actually Proteus himself is up to debate, but Winslow certainly thinks his co-worker is the Old Man of the Sea. Proteus is also a known shape-shifter - which makes sense given the obvious. Often attributed as the son of Poseidon, Proteus represents the changing nature of the sea and all of its unpredictable, often violent tide. He is Proteus, the sea god known as the Old Man of the Sea. A single horn of coral extends from his forehead. Winslow gains the upper hand and upon looking at a broken Thomas, sees him transformed drenched in ocean water, clusters of tentacles in place of legs, and a body made of barnacles and seaweed. The two keepers then explode into a fight. This over-the-top curse comes to fruition after a night of binge-drinking honey-dipped kerosene, during the climax of the film when Winslow learns that Thomas has been chronicling the rookie lighthouse keeper’s ineptitudes. After Winslow insults Thomas’ ability to prepare a lobster, he retaliates with the biggest overreaction of all time where he curses Winslow with all the wrath of the Seven Seas and Poseidon. But you know what? The classical authors did that all the time." That morsel of information confirms suspicions that Winslow (Robert Pattinson) is Prometheus and shines a much-needed spotlight on Thomas (Willem Dafoe) as a character. And Prometheus might be taking on some characteristics he hasn’t in the past. But where things get really juicy is his mythological inspiration for the film: “Well, Prometheus and Proteus never hung out in any Greek myths before, but that seems to be what is kind of happening here. Thomas Is ProteusIn an interview with Vox, Eggers revealed that the film is loosely based on a real-life event that took place in the 19th century somewhere in Wales. Well, let's dive into those questions about the film, particularly its unsettling ending and all that head-scratching symbolism, and provide those answers for what (we think) it all means. |
